Building A building

To tell the truth I’m not a home improvement enthusiast. Home improvements has never been a hobby of mine. In fact here in the UK we have this sticky stuff called “No more Nails”. It’s wonderful — sticks anything to everything. Anyway, we were putting a picture up and it was a hollow wall. The kind where you need a particular drill and one of those special fittings. It was then I had my brainwave. I said to my wife “Alison why don’t we use No More Nails to put this picture up?”

Her reply was instant: “I’m not living in a house where the pictures are GLUED to the walls” she said. And she walked off — .….. leaving me to consider my position.

But Jesus talks about home improvements as well. In fact he tells a story about two men who build houses. Matthew Chapter7 …
